Users include anyone in your office who is required to complete training, or attest to office policies and procedures as required by state or federal rules and regulations.
HIPAA training is required for all employees who handle protected health information (PHI) including dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, treatment coordinators or front office personnel.
Dentists, hygienists and dental assistants are required to complete the one hour infection control training.
All employees must be trained on the office’s Accident Prevention Program.
Temporary employees, as well as student externs, should also receive training on office-specific policies and procedures (HIPAA policies and procedures, accident prevention program). Their institution/employer is responsible for providing the general training on HIPAA rules, infection control and bloodborne pathogens.

No. For security and compliance purposes, each employee who is required to complete training, or attest to being trained on office policies and procedures, must be set up with their own unique user account. This is also for compliance and documentation purposes.
